Frequently asked questions
How accurate is PeakMere?
Every number is an estimate, and the app labels them that way. Live flight counts come from public U.S. aviation data and are usually close to what actually lands. Passenger counts use official averages for each airline and route, and the time from landing to the curb is an assumption, so treat them as a guide, not an exact count.
We check our live estimates against what really happened every hour, and only call an hour "busier than usual" when the difference is large.
Which airports and cities does it cover?
328 U.S. airports today, from the largest hubs to small regional fields, with Colorado first. Some features exist only in certain cities: for example the last airport train (Denver and the San Francisco Bay Area today) and transit alerts (cities whose transit agencies allow us to use their data).
Which languages does the app support?
The app is available in 11 languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, French, Hindi, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Vietnamese and Chinese. This website is in English and Arabic for now.
Do I need to give PeakMere my rideshare account?
No, never. PeakMere does not ask for any rideshare login, does not read or control those apps, and needs no access to your screen. It is a separate source of information.
Is my location shared?
No. "Where do I go now?" uses your location on your phone only. Optional anonymous sharing of waits and speeds is built but switched off; if we ever turn it on, it will be Off by default and you will be asked first. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
When can I get the app, and what will it cost?
PeakMere is in development and will come to iPhone first, then Android. Pricing is not decided yet. Join the waitlist on the home page and we will email you once at launch.
How do I delete my data?
Everything the app stores is on your phone: delete it in Settings or delete the app. To remove a waitlist entry or a message you sent us, write to [email protected] from the same address.
How do I contact you?
